Louth PPN have embarked on a recent project to highlight the diversity of the services provided within County Louth by members of Louth Public Participation Network. There are currently over 400 groups registered with the PPN providing a range of vital Community and Voluntary services across the three PPN Pillars of Community/Voluntary, Social Inclusion and Environmental.
It was with great regret that the PPN had to cancel the Annual PPN Community Awards for 2020 but in the interest of the health and safety of all our members amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the right choice. Instead, we decided to turn this negative into a positive and film a PPN promotional video.
25 PPN groups were nominated to feature in the video and a Big Thank You goes to to John Mulligan, Managing Editor, Drogheda Independent Group who has agreed to do a monthly feature piece on these PPN Groups which commenced in December – See below:
The PPN Promotional Video will be officially released next week and details will feature in next week’s Drogheda Independent and The Argus as well as the Friday Communiqué.
