Louth Library Service
Due to Level 5 restrictions, libraries are closed to the public but much work is being carried out by staff on promoting eServices and planning online events and activities as part of the #KeepWell campaign.
As part of the Government’s Keep Well Resilience Campaign Louth Libraries are offering new writers the opportunity to avail of one to one advice and mentoring from a published author. To take part you must have a piece of original writing (maximum 2,000 words) and be available for one to one Zoom meetings in late February and late March. Spaces are limited, to book your place on this programme or to find out more about the programme please email firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com>
The housebound service continues for those isolating or cocooning. The public can ring Dundalk Library at 042-9353190 or email firstname.lastname@example.org<mailto:email@example.com> and staff will assist.
A number of agencies and organisations have been promoting the library housebound service including Alone who are directing clients to us.
Louth County Council staff will endeavour to report relevant information for the coming week as currently available
